Nigel Taylor

...has worked in hairdressing since leaving school. Having completed his apprenticeship he opened his first salon in Birmingham at the age of 21 followed by a second salon 5 years later. In the early days, Nigel participated in various competitions, including the L'Oreal Colour Trophy and Wella/Vogue Awards. He spent 23 years working in further education, teaching both ladies' and gents' hairdressing. His Birmingham salons ran for 29 years before he took a break.

Nigel and Mandy moved to Pembrokeshire in 2003, and opened Taylor & Co Hair Studio in June 2005. Nigel continues to be involved in maintaining industry standards, and works with training centres and Habia, the industry's official standard setting body.

Nigel is proud to have created Taylor & Co Hair Studio, a smart and stylish salon. His reputation for excellent cutting has become well-established, and his work is in high demand. He continues to drive the salon forward, ensuring that he and his team can further develop the services they offer and strive for excellence in all that they do. Customer service is a strong focus, as Nigel believes that each client should enjoy the best possible experience every time they visit the salon.

Waheeda

...is our Salon Manager and colour specialist, using contemporary colour and cutting techniques to create personalised styles for her clients. She has the creative vision to understand what will work best for each individual.

Lisa

...Lisa has a real flair for long hair work and wedding hair styles. She also leads our Balmain hair extension work, and can offer in-depth and professional consultations to help you decide how extensions can help you add colour, length or volume to your natural hair.

Anita

...has a wealth of experience and excellent skills in all aspects of hair and beauty, having worked previously in a training environment, she now looks after our trainee stylists, ensuring that they work to achieve the high standards expected at Taylor & Co Hair Studio.

Kirsty

...is a trainee stylist, popluar with staff and clients alike, and is showing great promise in developing her haidressing skills, as well as providing excellent support to the team. Mondays are our training days, when Kirsty undertakes a range of salon services under supervision, at a special discounted rate.

Mandy Ryan

...works behind the scenes to make sure that Taylor & Co runs smoothly. She looks after all the financial and administrative aspects of the salon, and appears in this section due to Nigel’s insistence that she is the ‘backbone’ of the business!
